Good but still needs some improvement

I have close to a dozen external disks so this tool comes in very handy to manage them. I didn't turn on the thumb image and duplicate file function so it scans pretty fast through most of my discs. However, it completely choked on one of my My Book 1TB hard drive, progressing only a few GB after 30 min. Same results after I tried 3 times througout a week. However, my computer was reading and writing from that disc perfectly fine. Here are some improvements I would suggest:

1) For each disk scanned, it would be nice to add the total volume information besides the current file size on that disc.
2) Add a progress bar or some information while scanning as it still takes a few minutes to go through each disc so this would be helpful.
3) There doesn't seem to be a way to delete a disc from the scanned list. So the failed disc scan was creating multple items in that list and I can't delete them.

Good, but search can be tricky

Disk Manager is a good tool for browsing the contents of a volume, but search is still an issue as it doesn't support wildcards. For example, "disk manager", "disk-manager", and "disk_manager" are different items and are not returned when searching for a filename of "disk manager" using "contains". Spaces are not converted to wildcards. There is a "like" function, but this doesn't work either. Once wildcard searches work as expected, this will be great.

However, it's still possible to browse a volume and traverse the folder structure. It's a handy tool, but search needs to be improved.

It should be noted, you need to press ENTER after entering your search, then click Search, or it doesn't use the new value.

UPDATE: I see where you're going. After using "like" and adding wildcards at the start and end of the text, *disk*manager* multiple combinations are found. Excellent! Thanks!

Developer Response ,

Hello, thank you very much for your feedback!

Please use like option to do wildcards search, “*” means any number of any character, “?”mean any single character.

In your example, you can use “disk*manager” to match all these there strings.

Cant search all drives at once!

if I have 20 drives I don't want to have to do a separate search on each drive! unless I am missing somthing this app only allows searching of one drive at a time!

Developer Response ,

Hello, please choose all disks by click “all disk” at the top of the disk list, then it will search from all the disk.
