The Assassin of Doom
Dododex is amazing, the people that make the tips, the fanfictioners on there, the helpfulness of the calculators, and what recipes and helps there are are awesome. It’s helpful if you want to tame, breed, kill, or otherwise interact with animals on ark. It’s even prelinked into the the ark mobile game so when you are looking at an animal there’s a button that switches apps over to dododex. That in and of itself in my opinion is far and beyond the duty the dododex creator even asked for by creating such an app and shows his determination to help ark players and geeks alike.However to reach its full potential it would be good for him to start putting in other features like resource calculators, or overviews about different things like supply drops, animal drops, or artefact rewards instead of giving links to the wiki where we have to dig through it to find this stuff bc it’s not readily accessible. That is the only thing that the Survive ARK Companion has over Dododex. In everything else Dododex completely outpaces it’s competition. So please start putting those in place because if you did... instead of being just a unfinished gem... it would become a resplendent and priceless gem.

Some parts of this app are great, and some parts are just… meh 🫤. I’m going to talk about parts that either need improvement or just need to be removed period. 1. First off we have the tips feature. I love it. Only two problems. Number one, tips take like 24 hours to finally appear on the dex. And yes, I did put it on newest, still didn’t show. Only way you can see new posts immediately is to go on the dex website. Number two, the notice saying to downvote and report people that ask for upvotes! This is waaay to far. I understand some people are annoyed people are asking for upvotes. But that doesn’t mean you have to make people report people that ask for upvotes!!! 2. More by this author feature. Again, a very good feature. But. We need it in dyes. I understand that it costs lots of time and money. So if you don’t want to do it, that’s perfectly fine. 3. Impersonators! Impersonators are people that hate FanFictioners so much, that they impersonate the FanFictioners! Can you make it where only one device can sign off as a specific name. For example: FanFictioner: *Names himself Bob Toss* Impersonator: *Sees Bob Toss and decides he wants to impersonate him* Impersonator: *Signs off with the name Bob Toss* Dododex Notification: “This name is already in use by another device, please chose another. Thank you.” Again this probably would cost a lot of time and money. If you don’t want to do it that’s fine! Please respond, I don’t want a bot response. I bid you farewell!

Hi! Thanks for the review! Tips actually show pretty quickly, but if you just happened to load the newest screen, it is cached on your own phone for a little while, but others will see your tip. You can also check the new "My Tips" feature to confirm it's posted and check your upvote counts. Because Dododex has tens of thousands of users using it daily, caching tips helps reduce costs of constantly transferring data. Since Dododex is a free app, I need to take measures to keep the costs down, since it gets expensive running a high-traffic app and site.The "more by this author" feature is available on the web version of Dododex, but I hope to add it to the app in the future! Eventually I hope to add an account feature, which would allow the app to have more social features on Dododex, and would obviously prevent any impersonation issues, too! Also, none of my responses are bot responses -- they're all written by me. Thanks for using Dododex!

The Dododex is very helpful to me in a ton of ways first it is awsome how Dododex shows you what you need to tame certain Dino’s. Then the Dododex will show you how to make the certain kibbles needed for the certain Dino’s. It even shows you what different types of Dino’s drop. The idea that someone would research this much about ark so that the players know how to do things on ark is awsome. I love ark so much but sometimes I don’t know how to make certain kibbles or I don’t know what I use to knock out the Dino’s I’m wanting to tame but when have Dododex that’s not a problem at all I really think this app should have 5 out of 5 as the rating using this app is a life saver in so many ways whether your trying knock out tame or make kibble this app is there with it all written down this app is free too this app is probably my favorite to keep out when playing ark it will turn you from a lvl 1 to a 70 in no time so get this app try it out and you might love it.

Wether your trying to tame something for the first time and don’t know what to feed it. Or just if need to know how to make something in ark. Also there is a feature where you can read tips made by people who use the app. In it you can read funny or more helpful ones which is fun, helpful, and unique. It’s also just a nice time saver for people who love ark. The point is it is a well made useful app that covers tons of thing like various calculators even if they aren’t the most accurate and may not have everything up to date on some of the features. But if you love ark and play it often then I would definitely recommend it! Also thanks to the people who made it because they did a great job at doing it!
