My only complaint is with the integration with the 360 camera for walks. Sometimes during a job site walk through , the app disconnects from the camera, and a few times afterward it will state something like universal link is not recognized.

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews for this app. I’ve been using it to capture photos of our construction site for a couple months now and have had no problems whatsoever. I have one bar of service where I’m capturing these images and it works completely fine, never losing connectivity. The uploading process is very easy to use too, taking about 5 minutes to upload 200 pictures. Overall, very good and easy to use.

I’m not sure if it’s the app, the camera, or me but I cannot get any of my walks anymore to stay active. I will start the recording for the walk then I have to leave the app and iPad turned on otherwise it will not let me sync. Then I will walk the entire job and click the button to end the walk and the camera has disconnected from the app automatically and I can’t easily recover my walk on my own. This has happened to me many times. Furthermore, I can’t sync the walks unless my iPad is connected to WiFi (it has a sim card). I don’t know where all of the confusion stems from but it makes this part of my job all the harder frequently.

Struction Site Was Better

I’ve been using the Drone Deploy 360 app for a week, and it’s a significant step back from the previous Struction Site app. While there are some new features, they’re overshadowed by persistent bugs and a frustrating user interface.Logging my points takes almost twice as long, and deleting images or removing false points is unnecessarily complicated. The app freezes while a photo uploads, forcing me to wait instead of setting up my next shot. Struction Site handled this seamlessly, allowing background uploads.Overall, this app is impractical for anyone focused on interior 360 photography. I’m incredibly disappointed and really hope the old app returns.
