Unusable with Mojave

Just retried the app again. It is pretty unusable with Mojave. The settings window white on white. The same for the top part of the window. The files / folder window is black on dark. - GREAT! And the Sandbox "thing" just doesn't cut it as long you can't select the Mac HD itself, just the HOME dir. As long as the BASICS are not updated, I suggest everybody should stay away from that app. - SORRY this is not for me!

Developer Response ,

Sorry to hear that, you're the first user to experience that -as far as I know. I cannot reproduce this issue myself.
Furthermore: as the app explains it is against Apple's policies to allow you to select the root dir. Therefore it is the Home dir,

Sorry but this app won't do with its limitations

Obviously it looks like what many would expect from a standard file manager, left pane gets a tree hierarchy right pane shows you what's in the selected folder.

The first place this app goes wrong, is from the limitation of Apple (wrong as it is) to block people from the root folder. As an app, it should be allowed to offer the option and with full warning to the user.

Second and even worse issue, is that it currently expects everyone to be using the default white background as you have out of the box. Those who choose the "dark theme" apple so "graciously allows" will find the program completely unusable. The program does not currently adapt to the color scheme in use, so when using the "dark" theme the program doesn't kern color and highlight properly meaning you get barely visible text in any area of the program. The options pane appears to have only one or 2 areas that work, I have screen shots if the Dev would like to see them, since I noted in another review they couldn't "reproduce the problem"

Its a great idea.. but it fails from being inside the app store from apple, and also because of the theme coloring issue.

Developer Response ,

Indeed, the limitation to block you from your root folder, imposed by Apple, is annoying. Sadly there is no way to go around this.
Your second issue is being addressed: a new version compatible with Mojave's dark mode will be on the store shortly

May have caused Yahoo Search redirect

I have seen search redirects in Google Chrome on my computer for exactly a year now. I tried to solve the problem, and it was solved when I deleted this app. If this app is the cause, I would not recommend you to use this app. Here is my evidence: The logo is clearly a photoshopped picture of an eagle, there were more 1 star ratings than 4 star ratings, has a large file size, I did not download this app, and it is not a very good substitute to Finder. I hope that there can be more investigation behind this, since I cannot be sure this is the reason the search redirects are happening. I hope you found this review helpful.

Developer Response ,

This has nothing to do with the app and what peculiar 'evidence' you present, by the way. Do you really think the App Store review guidelines/system would allow such strange behaviour in an app?
