Quickly and easily record audio, then trim without losing any quality! 'easy Record and Trim' is a great way to record and trim audio and is super fast, accurate and easy to use. You can also create projects that allow you to save your work at any time. Then ‘export’ your trimmed file edits without any quality loss at all! This is because 'easy Record and Trim' knows about the internal format of MP3 and AAC audio files and makes all its edits without any audio quality loss or file corruptions. It doesn't need to decompress and re-compress audio in order to trim or make any edits or view the audio so it's lightning fast, even with large audio files. As well as trimming existing files 'easy Record and Trim' includes a direct MP3 or AAC file recording function. Other key features: • Multiple undo and redo • Fast, loads a 2 hour file in a couple of seconds • Works well with the Soundflower audio routing plugin • Optional upgrade to the 'Pro' version for the full suite of editing commands * Currently only unprotected AAC LC mono and stereo files are supported (the most popular AAC format)

Great app!! Have just 2 suggestions to the developers: 1.) Please make an update to this app for users to choose a dark mode view, to go easy on our eyes when we need to edit a lot of tracks. and 2.) Please put an adjustible equalizer toolbar in the main row of the app's available toolbars - reason: we need to be able to adjust the levels by using a toolbar that brings up the EQ controls (to change the output levels of the sound). Thanks!

I had some AAC audio files with extra stuff at the beginning and the end that I didn't want included before I submitted them to my business concern. Sure, I could've imported them into GarageBand and trimmed out the heads and tails, but I'd lose audio quality when exporting/re-compressing back out of GarageBand into AAC. This tool provided nice "hand-holding" tips and I trimmed my files with nary a fuss and absolutely no muss. It's exactly what I needed, no more no less. (Apparently it does MP3 too with a separate add-on, but come on! MP3 is a 25 year old codec and we have much sharper implements in our toolboxes these days.)

For Editing: I love this app!!! Super easy!For Recording: I could be more user friendly. It requires a few too many steps to start the recording and it doesn't allow you to send the app it to the background. Otherwise, it records just fine if you can put up with these inconveniences.

I was looking for a recorder that wouldn't stop and start all the time while playing. I also needed to crop a recording, so I worked on that today. I transfeerred it to a file easily and it works fine. I was so glad it wasn't difficult to navigate. I will continue using it and give you a more detailed update. For now, it is doing what I need, and easy to figure out.

Fixed requesting recording permissions. Fixed default recording device used rather than one selected in Record dialog. Other improvements and bug fixes.
