Ratings and Reviews
AWESOME, but a bit disappointing!
I really love all Tolkin books and wanted to learn how to speak Elvish. I'm Doing a project on this and I thought it would be cool to actually learn! So I got this app in hopes that I could learn something. I read the intro and half of the first lesson I've heard that I can learn a lot. There's only one disappointing thing, I'm not a very fast reader so that means that it's taking me a longer time to read it and it's kind of taking for ever to learn! I also wish there were some interactive pieces involved so I could have more fun while doing this. But overall this is a great app and I really recommend it!
Ok, but not great for picking up chicks.
This would have been a five star app, but I was very disappointed when I tried to ask a girl out in Quenya, and she just gave me a strange look and walked away. I haven't tried Sindarin, so maybe that is the problem.
Anyways I would recommend this to anyone trying to get a girlfriend, or any friend for that matter. However it is good for talking bad about people in front of them, as the stupid looks they give you are most satisfying.
I'm surprised that this app didn't have a section dedicated completely to making people feel like idiots.
Also don't use any elvish in school because unless your teacher is a big nerd you can say," what's up brother?" And get in a ton of trouble.
Otherwise, great app.
It’s a great resource for learning Quenya. There are 20 lessons that cover different aspects of grammar and sentence structure, as well as several categories of vocabulary. It would be nice if there were some audio samples to hear pronunciation, and I wish the Sindarin dictionary was free. Other than that, great app!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
