Great game ruined by pay to play

This game has some amazing potential but is ruined by greed on the part of the developers. Highly addicting and unlimited money can be spent to give you an edge. It is possible to grow and own pay to play players, but it requires too much time of mind numbing grinding vikings and ymir. The rush of outsmarting and beating pay to play whales is completely undone by the fact that they can and do swipe a credit card and instantly heal. They could make this game so much better and still make money if they limited available heals in battlefield and server war, and made server war ares only available to player with the top five “net” scores. Stay away… its a trap for your time and money.

Update** developer responded with the standard cut and paste “power is endless” response. I know how to grow smart and learned the mechanics of fighting smart… and i have no issue with people who pay to get ahead but the fact that there are no limits to how much they can spend to heal mid battle or server war renders all that knowledge completely useless. How many of you were in servers where people would go for server war wings with a billion point loss just to get 150 million points? Battlefields are the same, its not about being clever or fast, its about swiping that credit card and healing over and over

STOP!!! Read before downloading

Read the one star reviews first before downloading the game! The one star reviews will give you the real feedback about the game. You can lookup the game in FB or Discord and you will see that nobody has anything good to say about the game. All the good reviews are mostly from bots from the company or from people that had spend thousands of dollars playing the game and want more people to join so they have someone to play with.

Do not download the game without reading the reviews! Reviews that are three stars and below is what you want to read. The five starts reviews are probably done by the developers of the game and bots. I wish I could attach pictures or videos of the actual game, the hundreds of issues and the non-existence costumer service. Good luck if you decide to move forward and download it. Update! How did you (costumer service from Evony) pass my device information to developers and now are asking for ID information? What kind of data collection are you doing behind peoples’ back with your game? How are you collecting my device information and why are you passing my device information if I never mentioned that I play from where I writing the review???? Is that the reason the game takes so much space? are you collecting information from peoples’ phones without their knowledge??? Are you the reason my credit card related to the payment method keeps getting random charges from weird apps that I don’t have?

Love/Hate Relationship

I played Evony for several years and enjoyed the gameplay as well as conversations with the online friends I made there. However I gave away my castle, quit playing a deleted the game a couple of years ago because I got sick and tired of spending money in the game (prob about $100 a month) to build my castle to max level and then as soon as I would do that, new levels would be released and there were plenty of people willing and able to spend the hundreds of dollars it would take to upgrade instantly to the new highest level. All of a sudden my powerful castle was useless. One of those new mega powerful castles would come wipe out everything I spent REAL MONEY to build in seconds. After having this happen to me enough times I quit spending money and the pace of building up to something powerful enough to use was so slow it became boring. BOTTOM LINE FOR THE DEVELOPERS: I would consider coming back to the game if ONE of the three things (or similar ideas) were implemented: 1- make safe servers for those of us who want a more casual game 2- Limit the damage a higher level castle can do to lower level castle based on a percentage or the size difference perhaps. So a level 50 or whatever level you guys are up to nowadays could only do the same percentage of damage to a level 10’s power as it could to another level 50. 3- Make ALL fighting only during scheduled wars so smaller castles can reserve their bubble shields for when they know they need to use them.
