▶ How does the technology work?

We invented proprietary computer vision algorithms & machine perception AI technology that generates a robust eye tracking signal & accurate six degrees of freedom head pose in 3D space comparable to premium TrackIR or Tobii tracking devices.

As a result, Eyeware Beam turns your Face ID-supported iPhone or iPad, with a built-in TrueDepth camera, into a reliable, precise, multi-purpose head & eye tracking device.

Jittery tracking with possible burn in from long term use.

Doesn’t work all that well with glasses and adds a system wide watermark when in use. I honestly don’t think it’s worth it, especially with the subscription requirement of $5.49 a month to remove the watermark. I would be willing to pay for a perpetual license instead tho.

Developer Response ,

Hi JohnDoe8573674: Wearing glasses, hats, or long hair may decrease eye tracking accuracy as you point out, especially on larger monitors. However, these factors are only relevant to eye tracking and do not impact head tracking with the Eyeware Beam app. We are taking your feedback into account and will revisit out pricing model. Thank you for your suggestion.

Overall Great

Overall the program was great I used it quite a bit for Minecraft but I did never get the eye tracking to work but I was fine with it. The actual eye tracking might could be better but the head tracking worked just fine. I was using open track though and maybe it just never supported the eye tracking. Anyway I would also like to see the option to set it up on a different monitor. But overall it worked great

Developer Response ,

Hey edrb game tester, glad to hear that you like how the head tracking works. Indeed, you are right, Open Track is not made for facilitating/integrating eye tracking. For turning eye tracking on, you just need to head on over to the tray menu icon of Beam, open the app, and you will see there is a toggle for turning the gaze bubble on or off. Hope this helps! Otherwise, please feel free to reach out anytime you need to ,our discord server here or on any of the other social media platforms we're on. Rock on!

Works great, few flaws but again still in beta

This software works great, the ui is very simple yet professional. Few things that bother me though, USB connection hasn’t yet worked for me, and it would also be great if you could use your own webcam but with the same software on PC.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the review and your constructive feedback about the app and desire for webcam compatibility.

The most likely reason you are unable to get the USB connection to work is because you may not have downloaded the iTunes for Windows on your computer.

Please email if you already have iTunes for your PC so we can help you troubleshoot the connection.
