Been a user for many years now. I had actually switched to this app after years of using an unofficial one after that one started having story updating issues. In the last couple months this app seems to have developed the same issue, it fails to update stores that are downloaded and it even deletes stories off the downloaded library that have not been deleted by the author or myself. It’s very annoying and makes the app barely useable. I am a beta tester of iOS so maybe this app just isn’t kept up to date on the latest versions when they are still in beta, but it’s a very annoying issue for someone who has used the app on a daily basis for years.

At first the app starts off great. But over the years it begins to have some issues. The current issue that I am having with the app. Is regarding when I get notifications of new chapters being added to a story that I am reading. Only for the app to say that an error has occurred, it can not load in the new chapter or the story. Then it asks me to refresh the app. But when I do refresh the app. Instead of having for example 12 chapters. The story will refresh and instead, only load in the first two. Then when i go to exit the story. Instead of seeing the story with all of its 12 current chapters. The app goes and says that the story only has the 2 first chapters. When there are actually 12. I don’t know why this happening. But this bug seems like it will be a major issue for all readers. Hopefully it gets resolved quickly. This seriously needs an upgrade and a update

For the past few months, the app has been incredibly bad at updating new chapters to stories. Even on stories I myself have written, it only shows my stories having 9 chapters available when there are 11 posted ect. This is consistent with other stories I’ve tried to read, with ones that update rapidly sometimes missing five or six chapters. Even if you manage to get recent chapters to load, (rare) if you exit the app and re enter, the chapter you were on will disappear again, and you will be booted back to whatever previous chapter the app thinks is the latest one, losing all your progress. This issue is annoying enough that I recommend people just use the website instead of the app, it’s that glaring of an issue. Also, so long as we are airing dirty laundry, I don’t like that PM’s don’t carry over between app and web site. Desperately in need of bug fixes.
