Quickly navigation through search words in file contents. • Shows the search result for indexed drives instantly. • Supports any drive types (including non-indexed, external and network drives). • Scans multiple drives and folders at the same time. • Searches by: ⁃ All words ⁃ Any word ⁃ Phrase ⁃ Wildcard format. Good for searching network as well as Local drives and folders. Found it fast on Spotlight-indexed drives and of acceptable speed on non-indexed drives and folders

Settings in Preferences offer the option to choose between using Spotlight & Find, Spotlight only, or Find only. It's important to remember, the categories you select to appear in Spotlight Search Results (through  > System Preferences > Spotlight > Search Results) will impact your File Search Machine results when using the Spotlight setting.Once your first set of search results are presented, you can refine your search with another search string and select between three options (Everywhere, Name, Path), to narrow down your results, if desired. QuickLook offers a convenient way to view and locate what you looked for, without having to open Finder. There are numerous settings that impact the effectiveness and speed of the search. I had high hope for this app to locate files on my Mac. Instructions on how to use it are nearly non-existant and when I emailed tech support for help, I received an equally useless explanation. I've been using HoudahSpot which, will clumsy, actually works. This app is one of the more frustrating ones I've come across and would highly recommend that you don't bother with it. For me, it is useless. If there was a usable, staight forward instruction quide, I might be more charitable in this review, but sadly, that does not exist. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
