Exchange files and folders between multiple devices seamlessly. File Transfer works cross-platform on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.
It is quick and easy. No configuration required, no need to enter an address to connect. Devices are automatically discovered. Drag folders and files and they are transferred to your devices and computers in seconds. Without iTunes and without USB cable.
File Transfer is not a cloud. Files are transferred directly on your local network. No need to upload your files to the Internet, then download them on any device.
What you can do with File Transfer:
• Send and receive files and folders. Simply drag and drop them into File Transfer or onto its Dock icon.
• Send and receive the contents of your clipboard. Select a text, launch File Transfer, and click on the "Edit > Send Clipboard" menu. Or just type Cmd-V.
• Send files, folders, and clipboard from any other application. Select a file in the Finder, a text in TextEdit, or an address in Safari and click on the "Application Name > Services > Send with File Transfer" menu. Or just type Cmd-<.

I should have trusted the bad reviews
I should have trusted the bad reviews. As with many people, I could not get this to work. I have never had a problem with apps, and it appears there is no way to get a refund…or Apple has decided to make it extremely difficult. Seems like a bad way to do business.
I was upset i had to pay for it but its worth it. My LG v10 wasnt working on my mac by usb so i found this app installed it on my mac and phone then found out i had to buy the pro to download from my mac but i could upload for free. after buying both apps its totally worth it i transfered my 1.5g music file wirelessly over wife in 1 minute it was so easy well worth my 4 plus 2 dollars for the app!! thank you for making it work seamlessly.
If you follow the instructions it will work
So I was upset because out-of-the-box is somewhat of a misnomer, it’s more start up the app and go through the motions. That is my complaint, its pitched and hoped for, that you open the transfer apps on both devices and it works. You have to start the import on the iOS app via Edit/Import then your device will be recognized. It does transfer my files, just seems ad hoc and cumbersome.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
