Using this with my laptop it helped me locate my phone that i had put in a very strange place in my own kitchen! I was going crazy. I knew i had not truly lost it! It got me to look very hard nearby. It worked better than the find my Iphone which doesn't seem right! that located two other devices and not my phone but this worked!!!

I misplaced my Fitbit Charge 6. After downloading the app, it gave me confusing signal readings. Red... Red... Red... Yellow... Green. It showed green inside my car. I tore the place apart looking for my Fitbit. Came back into the house. Still green. Walked around the house. Green... green... No indication that I was anywhere near the device or if I was getting farther away. After about an hour of fruitless searching and watching for a bluetooth signal, I gave up. A few minutes later, I found that it had come off my wrist and fallen into a trash can. This app is totally worthless. The green, yellow, and red indicators mean NOTHING. I found it by myself with a flashlight.

I was certain my iphone was gone. My Apple watch wasn't connecting to the iphone so . Then I suddenly remembered the "Find My" app. I had one false start but I picked up my Macbook and started wandering around the house. The numbers on the screen started going down. So, I kept walking until I couldn't go any further. At that point, my phone was staring right at me. Nice job!

Using the free version I had just downloaded, It took 1-2 min. for me to find my iPhone, which had fallen on the floor. Earlier, I had spent 5 min. looking visually for the phone, and might not have found it for hours.The changing numerical distances for the phone & other devices helped me determine when I was getting warmer, in both horizontal and vertical planes.
