Description

A fun and colourful game where you will learn how to play a real instrument: the recorder!
Great for teachers: use a projector or interactive whiteboard and engage your classroom like never before!

NOTE: If you are a school or a teacher looking to buy in bulk (volume purchase), please search the store for "Flute Master for Schools" instead. The version you are looking at right now unlocks via an in-app purchase and so does not support volume purchase.

Please note:
(!) Trial is free but limited. You can purchase the complete version inside the game.
(!) Flute Master requires a real soprano recorder!
(!) Use headphones if you can. This helps the game listen only to your recorder.

Help the dragon Cornelius protect his tower of strawberries from the greedy bats. Yes, in the World of Music, bats love strawberries!

You'll play a lot of unique music tracks that gradually teach you each note on your recorder. By the time you finish the game, you'll be able to play great recorder tunes! ;)

Try to score as high as you can and... scare away those bats!

Features:

• Game-based learning to introduce you to the soprano recorder.

Best music game

While other music game apps are really instruction aids with point systems, Flute Master actually has thematic elements to make the learning process fun! I love playing video games and have always thought they would translate well to learning music, and I’ve been disappointed by apps that try to teach dumbed down versions of the same popular songs. Flute Master lets you play fun, original songs using a simple and intuitive method. My only complaint is that the game didn’t go far enough! I was hoping it would go into sharps and flats and the higher notes. I hope the developers are continuing to work on this great game!

OMG I love it

I’m a kid and I got this so I could learn recorder because I was lucky on my test and almost failed because of my notes weren’t long enough but this app really helps and it’s really fun but one thing it could really have more breath marks

Microphone problem

I got this game, because I found a record in some box in the basement. After I cleaned it out, I thought it might be nice to try and learn how to play it. So I downloaded flute master, but for some reason the app kept freezing, and saying my microphone didn’t start on time. As first I though my mic was broken, but tested it out with another app that teaches you how to play a recorder. But that app worked just fine. I thought it was just a glitch so I reseted my iPad. But it still did not work, I ended up deleting the app. Very disappointing.
