"Most credible OCD App" - One Mind PsyberGuide
GG OCD is a one-stop-shop for simple, research backed mental health exercises.
Join the thousands already using the app, reducing anxiety and experiencing better well being by self-managing their condition.

Discard unsupportive thoughts. Embrace positive ones. Learn to identify your inner monologue and respond quickly. Train daily for 14 days, 3 minutes each day, and improve your wellness.

New findings support the effectiveness of the core mechanism used in GG OCD.
According to CBT models, negative self talk – individuals’ ongoing interpretations of the self, others and the world - maintain psychological difficulties such as low self esteem, mood, obsessive, OCD and maladaptive thinking.

The app is designed to:
1. Increase your awareness of unhelpful thinking habits
2. Train you to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts
3. Increase your access to helpful and positive thoughts
4. Increase the automaticity of the above processes
5. Reduce anxiety and depression
6. Provide daily mood and self-esteem boost

Our app platform is not designed to be used as a therapy or treatment, however:
1. It is being used by CBT therapists as a complementing tool
2. It helps build and maintain healthy thinking habits
3. It is shown to relieve symptoms of anxiety, worries and obsessions

The basic task in the app is simple - you will be presented with thoughts. If the thought promotes negative self talk - throw it away by dragging it on-screen. If the thought promotes positive or neutral thinking, accept it by dragging it towards you.
The longer we exercise and make it a habit, the more automatic this process becomes.

The app's many topics and themes are broken down into more than 40 levels. Each level has a pool of self talk statements (or thoughts).

The topics include: self esteem, belief in change, self criticism, negative thinking, coping, sin, harm, comparing, perfectionism, emotions, social fears, self as an object, danger and threat, seeing the beauty in the world, fear of abandonment, fear of contamination and more.

You can also test yourself to see how well you progress with our self assessment tool.

3 minutes a day? Are you kidding?
When we started working on the app, we knew that if we want to have a positive impact on people's mental health, we'd better make it easy for them to improve. We designed the 3 minute daily exercise program, and began studying the effect. Fortunately, the results were good.

Remember: positive change doesn't happen during training. It happens when you utilize supportive thinking in real life.

Training using this application, allows for gradual, steady learning of more adaptive self-talk thereby helping to break the vicious obsessive cycle.

The app includes 15 free levels for training on some of the basic topics. The rest of the levels (over 30) can be accessed with a purchase. There are 2 purchase options:

For $11.99 a month, you can train as long as you find the app useful.
For $59.99 ($5 per month) you can build and maintain a healthy habit for a whole year

Woww! To be honest I realized I’ve had ocd recently and this discovery has made me beetter. After downloading this app and using the tools it provides to throw away the negative thoughts and embrace the positive ones, I’ve seen major changes in a short time. I have used the app 4-5 days in a row and haven’t had to use it again for a month now. I feel soo much better and when I feel that I neeed it again I will use it.

My only recommendation is to make it a little more personal to the person using it. For example a few of tthe affirmations popping up on my notifications are not things I struggle with, but for the most part they were helpful

Love that it’s research-based and works

As many have been experiencing throughout the pandemic, my anxiety has gotten much worse over the last year to the point where I was in a constant state of distress. After doing some research, I stumbled upon this app. I was willing to try it out and pay for it for a month or two to see if it would do anything, and honestly the headspace I’m in after using the app consistently it’s drastically different. I find myself much more easily able to push past negative cognitions and fears. The app could use some work as far as grammatical structure and typos in some of the phrasings. There are little things I don’t like about it, but overall it’s simple, easy, and effective. I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Really good for self-affirmations/positive thinking

This is my first review for an app and I am an 10+ years IPhone user. When I find myself overthinking, overstressing, and over anything that deals with anxiety, OCD, etc., the phrases or statements on this app pops up in my head to remind myself that everything will be ok. Maybe it is the combo of words for every statement, but if you are looking for ways to help you think more on the positive side, this is a good app to help you with that. It has been working for me.
