Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service (ERS) offers outstanding service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Members are covered in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Mexico.
The Good Sam RV ERS mobile app puts the power in your hands. With the touch of a button, you are connected with a customer service representative who has been specially trained to handle RV related disablements. And by utilizing your phone’s GPS capabilities our representatives can pinpoint your exact location!
-Roadside Services – Connect with assistance by selecting the service you require such as: battery, tire, fuel, lockout and more.
-Service Details – The minute help is on its way, a reference number, service dispatch information, and ETA is transmitted directly to your phone.
-Vehicle Registration – You can pre-register your vehicles, RV’s, and towables which will expedite the process of requesting roadside assistance.
-Member Benefits – Gives you easy access to all the discounts and benefits associated with Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service membership.
The Good Sam RV ERS mobile app is free to download! Unlimited distance towing to the nearest service facility will be provided to members free of charge, and all other services will be provided as detailed in the Member Benefit Brochure. Services provided to non-membership vehicles are subject to fees.

Currently locked out
I am currently locked out of my car and the app. Inside my car is my wallet, ID and card. Therefore I cannot give my GS membership number (which are saved in the app.) when I called customer service they hemmed and hawed about finding the member without the number and kept giving me a run around about the name phone and address listed. They claimed nothing came up when I just used it a few weeks ago. As far as the app itself, it is frozen on a previous request waiting page. Every time I try to cancel I get error messages. When I pointed this out to customer service, they offered no solutions and gave the previously mentioned run around. And in the city I live in, I cannot call the police to help me get in because they no longer allow it. So thanks for sucking super hard GS.

Good app but has issues
So I requested for jump start and lock down service through app which worked flawlessly. But apparently even after more than 3 weeks app shows my “rescue” is still in progress!! And bad part is I can’t cancel this menu to go back to home screen (or even option to jump between menus). Will try to reinstall app to see if that helps but this is not acceptable if I have to reinstall app every time I need to be “rescued”.
Friendly but incredibly incompetent
This is the second time I’ve had to use this service in the last three months. (Bad luck) First time was road debris wiping out a tire, second time mechanical malfunction with transmission on a different vehicle. Both times the Good Sam operator could not adequately locate me despite my use of their app. In both cases the tow truck was nearly 2 hours away from my position, despite me being along an interstate in a populated area. The second time, the good Sam operator called a tow company and sent them to an obscure address many miles from my position. It was only after I called the tow company directly that I discovered their error. Many other organizations have roadside assistance apps. I will be shopping around, and dumping Good Sam for this service.
