#1 iPad & #3 iPhone app in Czech free charts!

Family Farm: Goodfolks is an easy to play realistic-looking simulation of country life. Will you accept the challenge of bringing a desolate village back to life?

Good folks are coming to this village looking for a nice place to live and work. You will build fields, orchards, and corrals for livestock. Cook meals with ingredients you harvested, milked, or caught.

This is an old-fashioned real-time game. You don't need to worry about your plants withering when you are not playing. The game mechanics were inspired by board games.

We recommend playing on an iPad. Owners of first-gen iPads and iPhone 4 will experience lower visual quality and frame-rate. iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3rd gen are not supported.

Love the game but...

I love this game but it drives me crazy that it never receives updates. It could have been expanded and updated in so many ways by now but unfortunately it just sits around with oodles of untapped potential. The game designer has no other apps in the App Store either, which I find quite sad as I really enjoy the quality of this game and would love to have more of the same. Despite the lack of updates, I do feel like it is a great game that has replay value so I don't regret buying the night-skipping in-app purchase.

If you like farming games but hate the ones that require you to harass your neighbors for materials, you will like this game.

Fun to play

I find Family Farm fun to play. I am not wasting my hard earned money buying in-app gems or anything. Yes, you get to play for about 5-10 minutes, and then you wait an hour to play again. Unless you like wasting your money, or families money on buying in-app purchases. I unplug for most of the day and do other things. These people who complain about wasting their money to continue playing aren't unplugging from their devices and doing other things, or playing other games to kill time. It's only an hour to deal with, not a lifetime. The game has awesome graphics, and the music is nice and serene.

Good but could be better

It's a cool concept and love the choice of angles and more realistic characters. I do not like that you can only play for like 20 minutes before you have to wait and hour or pay $2. I also don't like that you can't design the layout. And the new thing games are doing where to earn things you kinda need to play the game with any flow you have to join things you don't want to join or fill in surveys. I won't even go there. I think many games will start losing players to these over-sponsor dependent games! Including me. A game is supposed to be fun not aggregating. Nice try guys but no thanks.
