國際蘭馨交流協會世界總會(Soroptimist International，簡稱SI)成立於1921年，由加利福尼亞州奧克蘭Alameda縣的80名婦女組成，是一個以婦女賦權與福祉為宗旨而成立之國際性服務組織。會名是以二個拉丁詞〝Soror〞和〝Optima〞合併而成，涵義為〝Best For Women〞意即〝女人幫助女人〞。 國際蘭馨交流協會世界總會(SI)目前總部設立於英國劍橋，是聯合國承認的INGO國際非政府組織婦女服務社團，有權代表出席聯合國參加相關機構各項會議，轄下設置四大聯盟，組織遍佈全球，會員由商業與專業婦女組成的國際社團，我們的工作目標是要改善婦女與女孩的生活。 「國際蘭馨交流協會」幫助婦女的方式是提供資源，讓她們為自己和家人及社會創造正面的改變，會員以募集慈善基金的方式做各項相關的支援與服務，透過個人專長、才智與奉獻，給予真正需要幫助的婦女與女孩關懷及協助，在世界各地會員串聯的國際網路下，促進對人類的關懷與和平。
