Chat feature lacking, good overall

So I do like the format and the memes are actually funny and good for learning, but I think the chat feature could be improved. I was trying to ask questions to get it to go into the topic a little deeper or explain something I didn’t understand, but it basically just repeated the comment again and refused to talk about anything that wasn’t directly a part of the comment itself. I also think having an option for video format could be helpful, especially for kids who are used to that short form video format vs. reading.

AI wrapper apps vary in quality, and this one looks like it has a lot of potential. If I could spend 10 mins seeing what it offers before signing up for automatic payments, there's a good chance I'd be happy to pay the very reasonable subscription fee. But having to subscribe even to see example content makes me feel like my scarce attention is being taken advantage of, in hopes I'll forget to cancel.Leaving this review mostly because I see the developers actively monitor comments, which is great in itself!

We have a free trial - Hi Arden Fritz, we have a free trial via Notifications. Currently our demand is high and we need to load balance some AI calls. We are currently also working on a new onboarding that would have some feeds ready for people to try.I know this is not ideal but even with ads we wouldn‘t grow sustainably otherwise.

With so many generic AI leveraging apps it’s really a bummer to not be able to trial this app before paying. Can’t use this at all unless you commit to at least $8 a month. Which in today’s app climate always feels scammy and predatory. This is not a review of the entire app as I chose not to pay (yet) so I didn’t use it. Just a review / opinion on the app having a pay-or-delete model.

I want this app to work so bad, and the content is good, but no matter what I do, the progress bar doesn’t go up. It stays at 0%. So I can’t save my place. And I can’t contact them in the app to tell them that without downloading the Apple mail app and I don’t want to do that. So when this is fixed, I’ll give it another chance.
