The game is fun. I was drawn to the game by the ads, because the graphics seemed pretty nice and they are! It’s a super easy game. You can still enjoy the game without watching ads, but watching ads will give you more money in the game that will benefit you in the long run. However, ads do get tedious but it isn’t a problem if you’re patient for rewards like me. You can just play the ads while doing something else in the moment. I thought there were too many ads from reading the reviews and initially hesitant to play the game, since it also seemed that I would have to pay to play, but ads weren’t even a big deal! It’s hard to describe in words, but you can only know what I mean when you download the game!!

I’d like to start off by saying that this is a great idea for a game—I was really excited but I was extremely disappointed when I started playing. The first and probably largest problem I have with the game is the way in which you move up through jobs. Now I understand in real life there are certain requirements you have to meet for certain jobs, and when it comes to the education part of this game to meet these requirements, this is done well. However, with things like buying a better car, or having a dog, or having a better house, I understand that better things come with better jobs, however, it is impossible to move forward in this game when you have to buy these improved things to get a job that pays less than what you are currently making. Because if you can put those things in your budget for what you were currently making and you get a reduced payment in the next job, you are not making money to buy better things for the next job and get stuck. Now, there are many other complaints I have regarding this game but are minuscule compared to this primary one, as I said previously. If there was a way to find better balance between improving what you have and getting better jobs where it would actually work for budgets, this game would be incredible.

I was super excited to play this game, and couldn’t wait for it to download. However, when I finally got to playing it was severely disappointing. The execution on this game was poor and lacking in my opinion. First of all everything is outrageously expensive, I mean $300 a month for a freaking fish just so my avatar is less lonely? On top of that you can’t get a new job in the game unless you upgrade the food your eating, the clothes your wearing, the classes you took, and the vehicle you drive, but you need money to get those which you have none because you job doesn’t pay enough! Then there are the choices which seem like no matter what you choose your going to loose something. Also as the months go by your health and happiness automatically decrease no matter what which also can prevent you from getting a new job. You pretty much have to watch hundreds of ads just to have a few thousand dollars for the next months expenses, or watch the same amount of ads to keep yourself happy and healthy enough. You can hardly keep yourself alive let alone try and make it in Hollywood!
