I love the concept of this extension, and use it most often when scrolling the google image search page to increase the size of the image results individually. As such, I use it in hotkey mode (hover mouse over image, hold shift to magnify). However, there are many times it will not work, for unknown reasons; I hold shift... nothing. I'm unsure the cause of this (not limited to only Google). One time, I checked settings and "hotkey mode" was unchecked, though unsure how. While other times when malfunctioning, I have verified that it is still selected, and that the cause is unknown. Overall, I still recommend this extension as it's incredibly useful and works most of the time. I just wish it was more reliable at the current moment. If it becomes such, I will update review and change from 4 stars to 5 stars.

Overall I love this extension, but there is one very annoying bug. If hotkey mode (which uses the shift key -- not configurable) is enabled and you switch tabs using ctrl-shift-tab or leave Safari while holding shift, then when you return to the original tab, images will hovered even if you aren't pressing shift -- presumably, when a tab loses focus, a key-down event is registered, and when you return to it there's no key-up sent, which leaves it in a broken state. Ideally this extension would refresh the state of the shift key when returning to a tab.

Similar functionality has been available for other browsers for years, but sadly missing in Safari. This little extension makes browsing for anything with images much more efficient.I appreciate several of the extra features, including hotkeys to enable zooming, and the site-specific zoom options.Running now on Big Sur 11.2.2 without any trouble.

Imagus was an extension I couldn't live without, but unfortunately doesn't have a Safari version. This one is not as customizable but does all the essentials nicely.The only major annoyance I have so far is the lack of a "delay" setting, where it only tries to preview an image after certain milliseconds of staying on link. It also prevents performance issues when scrolling through page with a lot of links, like Reddit.
