NODE-BT is a Bluetooth®-enabled, app-configured irrigation controller from Hunter Industries that lets you automatically irrigate any plant material lacking AC power and not having to open the valve box! NODE-BT is quick to install, and swift to program and operate. The app provides convenient features originally on NODE, now with new enhancements all accessed from a smartphone. This means no more crossing traffic to get to roadway medians, searching for controllers in overgrown bushes, and opening dirty and potentially dangerous valve boxes. Hunter builds lotta quality products but is lacking on this Bluetooth if your gardens out in the back yard through center block walls it makes it difficult for the signal to come through. You have to get close within about 20 feet. Although it’s a good time saves time and money.

Change Schedule while disconnected

Love this technology!Would like to have the ability to access controller to make changes to the schedule while not connected and then once connected the updates take effect. Being a property manager of a 9 acre property with 8 valves boxes and 10 of the BT node controllers these have made my job much easier. Thank you Hunter!!

Hello, thanks for your patience. Version 5.0.5522 or later now gives you the time-saving/convenient ability to view and edit all your irrigation controllers and then deploy in the field when ready. Give it a try and let us know how we are doing.

Dark mode breaks it

As the titles says, if you select system-wide dark mode you won’t be able to select the time of a manual run. Needs to be fixed asap.

It took a bit to get the app to work. Eventually restarting the phone and refreshing the app worked. HOWEVER, the only way to get Bluetooth to work consistently, I have to disconnect the device in the app when I’m done. If I don’t I can’t get the app to connect next time. So far this works but now I’ve list some confidence and may not install it.

Improved Controller Settings display (General and Security sections). Resolved intermittent missing data in settings screen. Fixed GPS/Location issues on iOS after updating to 26.0.1.
