Pretty good game. Story line was actually followed, and the map was pretty on target. The art work is terrific, and it didn’t throw away a useful tool just before you’d need it again!! I gave it 4 stars as I could actually figure out where to go next. The HOP games were good, but the objects sought were also pretty small, usually had to use at least 1 hint! The side game of mahjong instead of the HOP was boring. I’d prefer a bubble shoot or the like as that actually requires a bit more talent. I hate the side puzzles where if you move one object, others move too. But only a handful of those in the game. All in all, a good game for a couple of hours.
My HINT button stopped working!!
Barely into this game, my HINT button stopped working and really took the enjoyment out of the game. I am pretty new to these games and still rely on the HINT button to help me out. These Artifex games are so amazing in every way, and I give great credit to the creators for developing such imaginative story lines. Thanks so much for creating interactive maps, so one can jump readily to the action spots. If you fix the HINT button, I’ll be a happy camper!I I mustered my courage and attempted the game without the HINT button. It is a wonderful adventure! I am really getting hooked on these games. I enjoy the great artistry and don’t want to go elsewhere and be disappointed. Great fun!!
It’s a beautiful game.
I’m halfway through this beautiful game. The game flows more smoothly than some of the earlier A.M. games and the artwork is great. The puzzles are easy to medium so far with easy access, so I’m not frustrated : ). The storyline so far is not as intense or complicated as others before. My one complaint about many of these games that I play on laptop is that in the seek/find glimmer sections, the artwork is sooo dark with minimal contrast that you can’t make out the items. But, Rock On! Artifex Mundi. Another fun game.
