I’ve used this game for years, because of its simplicity and ease of use, from back wihen it was a Mac thing only. Every upgrade is less intuitive and more intrusive. The last upgrade is constantly needing confirmation that I am the player, and the Welcome back thing is incredibly annoying. I don’t want a relationship with a game, I just want to play it. I’ll even put up with the dorky fireworks, instead of the simple ‘You won!’ from days of yore. This is like therapy for me, and the more it’s messed with, the less relaxing it becomes. Stop the tweaking!

I like that this game is almost like the 32 bit Byterun Solitaire! ...... BUT I wish the sound of the cards "shuffle" and "drop" of the cards was more realistic and softer sound like BR. I don't like the sound of the cards dropping like a thud. Should be a soft landing sound. I am still learning the cash part of it. AND I like the fireworks almost like BR. Very nice graphic look to the game.

Suddenly, all the options appeared on the menu bar. I only keep the UNDO, REDO and WINABLE icons on it. I can't find a way to view the window that allows adjustments to be made on the menu bar. Was there an update that messed everything up again? And, when I tried to download a new copy, I only see an "open" option here. This Top Solitaire is my constant companion while I wait for things to load. It's really ssad when it messes up like this without warning, with no way to fix it.

I love Spider, there is so much skill involved. It epitomizes the flaw in Solitaire scoring systems – lots of moves is a better, more challenging game! Unfortunately, Top Solitaire only supports a 2-suit variant. Easier and more winnable, but not as much fun, and *NOT* actual Spider solitaire.Since the only version of Solitaire that's not available everywhere crippled, I have a hard time giving it an average rating. But it seems otherwise well programed, and I appreciate not including stalkerware. (I wouldn't have downloaded it if they had.)
