The inspiration behind Jumpshot.
At Canon Innovation Lab, we are focused on solving real problems— like simplifying the overwhelming task of organizing enormous, fragmented photo libraries. When we set out to solve this dilemma, we turned back the clock to find the answer. So, imagine trying to organize your photo collection in the days before digital photography. (You can remember those days, right?) First, you would start by dumping your collection of photos on a table. Then you would pick up the photos one by one. If a photo was good, you would put it in the ‘keep’ pile. If it wasn’t, you’d put it in the ‘toss it’ pile. Today, with the swipe of a thumb, we’ve brought that same simple process to digital photo libraries. With Jumpshot, you’re left with the memories that really matter—and that’s when you can start to do incredible things with your photo collections. This is just the beginning. Stay tuned for amazing updates that are going to help Jumpshot users really own their Camera Roll.
*Much like a certain well-known ‘dating' app, we have also added an Undo button. Unlike them, ours doesn’t require a ‘Plus account'. *sips tea*
*Fixed an issue where users with Photo Stream weren’t seeing those photos in their Galley. What’s a Photo Stream? How’s is it different than the Camera Roll? These are questions man was never meant to know the answers to.

Works for me
Fast and after you go through several dozen pics it let's you make sure you really want to delete them.
Helps a lot
This has helped me, I have always had space problems because I like to take pictures. This is easy to use and can be fun as well looking at pictures again. Definitely recommended🙂
You can already do what this app does with your camera photo/gallery app. Instinct to swipe left/right to scroll back/forward in a camera roll is risky with this app since you will ID a photo for deletion and struggle to remove the delete instruction. No way to re-scan camera roll if you change your mind on photos to delete. No AirPrint support. Not sure what the developer is thinking with this...
Developer Response ,
Thanks for sending us your feedback on Jumpshot! Hopefully we can address some of the issues you’ve had so far.
First, there is definitely no risk involved with swiping your photos to the Trash or Gallery, nothing is deleted until you empty your Trash. If you were to accidentally empty the Trash while there are photos you’d like to keep in it, you still have a 30 day grace period thanks to Apple's “Recently Deleted” folder (yay!). In the latest version of Jumpshot we’ve also added a handy undo button on the sorting screen to make those changes of heart even easier of you.
Secondly, we do have AirPrint support. To print a photo with in Jumpshot, simply double tap your photo to bring up the share menu. From there you’ll see the print icon on the bottom row of the share card. I hope this helps!
We hope you continue to use Jumpshot and send us feedback about your experiences. We have a lot of features in the pipeline that will make Jumpshot a more powerful photo management tool. All the best!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
