Good App, Needs More Features to be Complete

Firstly, this is a good app. It’s very asthetically pleasing, and what it can do, it does right. However, there are some missing essential features. One of them is an export option. For me, at least, I need to export my notes to a PDF to share with others. My notes should not be contained within the app. Of course, you can copy the notes to a different application that will allow you to export it, but at that point, why not just use that application? As a developer myself, this would be a fairly simple thing to implement because there are so many libraries that would do the hard part for you. There’re no options to adjust the fonts or anything either. To be fair though, it is on their roadmap online at tempad.io.

Another feature I would love to see is the option to add code editing to the markdown like you can with GitHub. This would be immensely useful in my Comp. Sci. courses. Good start, keep going!

Developer Response ,

Thanks for such a nice review! :)
We'll try to keep it up and deliver more nice features without downgrading the overall quality.
Btw, some of the features you described are already on our roadmap :) You can check tempad.io to see which ones exactly.

Love This App

I rarely write reviews, though I have many, many apps. But this one is so slick and aesthetically pleasing, I had to write one. I am very sorry that the developer chose to discontinue the app development. This app has been so useful to me in various settings. I used it to organize my research, take research notes, and take meeting notes. I love the interface, and the app has never failed me.

Please consider reviving your support for this app. I’d happily pay for it.

Super slick and minimalistic notepad

Really really slick and very easy on the eyes. It’s a great app, and fantastic way to quickly jot down notes or save things for later—The password protection feature is one I’ve been looking for, and it works perfectly. It’s a great way to keep some notes private.
There’s a lot of really good attention to detail in the app too, which I really appreciate. From the colors used to how the text shows up while typing (Appears smoothly rather than instant… Hard to explain, but you’ll know what I mean as soon as you try it), the UX/UI is very well thought out and polished.

The only downfall is that there’s no cloud sync, or sync at all. If you plan on running this on multiple devices, that’ll be the one drawback. But, if it’s only going to be used on one computer, it’s fantastic.
