Ops is a modular synthesiser designed to make it easy to create and explore sound interactively with a touch screen. Ops does away with patch cords, instead using a system of connected blocks with a clear signal flow.
The blocks, called ops, are joined together into structures by dragging and dropping them on screen. Structures can easily be copied and varied to build-up rich, interesting results.
There are ops to perform a wide range of functions, including interaction, signal generation, effects processing, control, audio input, sample playback and record, MIDI input, and pitch and rhythm manipulation.
- sample record and playback ops
- play and edit structures at the same time
- full undo/redo
- user interface improvements
- merge load
- Boolean and more maths ops

Sweet hyper modular starship
Hails to the maker as this is fabulous for audio mangers! Great clean 'no wires' style is different but it's amazing even for non math-emagicians! Dope minimalist graphics with maximum audio options. I feel like it fits a different space than other modular apps and it is unique. The sound quality is so crisp, yet can drip mayhem audial slime and sick dirty fuzz synth overdoses too so as with the modular way of life, the user can kinda do infinitely triply and awesome audio tracks. I could use a PDF manual but it's all good. I have not tried midi but I'm assuming it works as its a premium app. A great twist on the modular, and I like the digital style along with the interface.
Modular made easy
Ops makes modular synth/sound design fairly easy - even for novice sound designers. The modules snap in place and are really easy to understand. It doesn’t take long at all to have something on there screen that not only sounds cool, but is also easy to see what is happening.
I would give 4.5 stars if I could right now. There are a couple little things that I’ve contacted Jonathan about and he has been very quick to respond.
Overall very promising!
A couple of minor things I have found so far. The oscilloscope- great tool, but I would like it at the top right corner if possible. It's mostly because I depend on it so much. The second thing is the menu. It keeps picking up objects when I try to scroll. Other than that full speed ahead!
