The logo need to be changed
All the functionalities work well for me but I think its logo should be improved or changed to another attractive logo and it has to look more sense than the current one. That's all
Needs major updates
I bought one unit last year. I was hoping that by this year it would have made some updates that make it more user friendly. I live in the US. For a technology based product, should be more up to date.
-Set up should be easier, it took me 5 tries to connect it to the Wi-Fi. Not sure why that should be.
-The time is in 24h mode, it would be nice to have it in 12H time.
-There is no water now feature! You have to set up the time in advance and either go press the button on the unit. Taking away the convenience of the wireless feature. Or wait until the unit communicates with the server. If it doesn’t, the schedule is set up for nothing. ...major fail!
- there are no notifications to know if it ran or not. If it skipped due to weather or adjusted the watering length due to weather. Another major fail.
-The last update to the app was over 1yr ago. The technology has evolved in the last year, not sure if the company thinks the app or valve firmware doesn’t need updating.
-I own a Rachio Gen 2 unit for my lawn. If they had a valve that could be added to their unit or integrate it into their system, I would replace my Wise with a Rachio.
Kind of disappointing.
I wanted to love this product. The app is really well written. It offers great customization and does a good job at adapting to weather. On the other hand, the hardware is just ineffective. I needed a 25PSI pressure reduced to get it to work, which was inexpensive and easy. Even after that the valve gets stuck open and it doesn't seem reliable enough to want to rely on it when I'm not home. The battery compartment is hard to access as well. The directions also say keep the valve upright, but putting it at the spigot reduces pressure too much to use the valve. I have to place the valve at the sprinkler which then keeps it horizontal. If the hardware would match the amazing app I'd love to support the company.
