Showcaller - Caller ID & Block 4+

I've used their service online several times, so I was happy to see they provided an App. This service has made a difference for me due to the amount of unknown numbers I receive daily. I like knowing I don't have to answer a call because it shows it's been flagged. From there I block that number on my phone. I do wish there was a way the app could block a number once it's been identified or reported. I understand why they don't. Perhaps in the future they can offer the ability to block or unblock numbers on your phone within the app itself. Overall I'm fairly pleased with this service.

It gives you any available information on the number that it can. Sometimes it's a little info, sometimes a lot. It tells you if it's reported as spam, too, and that's really all I need to know to block the number. If it could just give more info the. It would get 5 stars!

I get at minimum 4 calls daily that are or probably are spam. One has been identified as spam over last six months when the call is ringing. Not sure if this is due to Apple’s compatibility or that new numbers are being used constantly and OK Callers system has not been updated. Therefore I have to enter each number manually into the app. Even then, only 10% are shown as spam.

I do believe that a larger effort needs to be made by the FCC, device makers and spam recognizing apps to prevent spam calls from ringing through. Would be nice that if a call is identified as possible spam that phone would only vibrate instead of ring.
