Great but needs some improvements

Love the idea and how simple this app is to use. I love the interface as well! One thing to improve would be settings for the notifications, such as frequency and time, and allow the ability to turn off the notification you get after completing a cycle.

We have received a lot of feedback to be able to control the time the notifications come in. We are currently working on getting this implemented and should be out within the next two releases! In regards to your second piece of feedback, that is the first time we have heard that. The last notifications are suppose to be a motivator to congratulate you on completing a Cycle. We will discuss this feedback to see how we can implement this feature.

Would give 5-stars but...

I love how easy it is to setup a habit. and the different color cycles is so cute with the dark theme, though I would have to say it would be great if you could sync it to your icloud, I had to uninstall and reinstall it and once I did that I had to rewrite all of my habits, good thing I had them written down.. also it would be great to have the option to carry out the habits not only daily but weekly.. I like the notifications that “you’re doing great with your habit” please keep that!! but yes I agree that it would be great if you can set how many notifications you get, or How often you get them, I must get like 10 notifications a day which can become too much, with all other notifications you get from all your other apps.. overall it’s a great app, but I won’t be keeping it if I can’t backup anything..

I see your feedback and I appreciate the suggestions. We are currently working on implanting a cloud storage feature so you won’t have to worry about losing your Cycles! This will also lead to include better statistics of your progress.

The notifications are “smart” generated meaning they are created based on the time of the day the Cycle is created and how many times you would like to work on your habit per day. We are ready to release a way to schedule a start time for these habits which would hopefully help in this area. Good but needs work

I don’t always receive notifications. It seems like if you pass on a checkpoint, it gives up on you…counterproductive to it’s goal. It would be nice if it was more customizable, ie: setting colors, moving tasks for priority. The interface is extremely boring and not inspiring. As much as I love black, a black background is not uplifting. Also, the ability to set times for reminders would be beneficial.

Thanks for downloading Cycles and thanks for leaving a review! Feedback is always important. I’m sorry your experience with Cycles has been sub-par. Notifications should definitely be coming in. This is an issue to look into. Cycles tries to keep a fine balance of nudging you to get going and not spamming you with alerts. This is something that I appreciate your feedback on.

There are talks of adding in a light mode and Cycle color picker to the app! These are all in the pipeline and will make it to the app soon. So definitely stay tuned for that update!
