Elegant design, easy to use

This provides a much needed world clock functionality to macOS (available on iOS), and adds the ability to see what the time would be in other timezones using a slider. It's compact and easy to use. I find myself using it constantly to determine what are good meeting times for our globally distributed team.

You can add multiple timezones and easily change the order. The timezones helpfully display the day, so you don't make mistakes due to timezones straddling different days.

It would be nice if the developer would add the ability to provide custom names for a timezone. For example, Shenzhen isn't in the list of timezones, so I have to choose "CST" (for China Standard Time), which causes me to do a double take since it has the same abbreviation as Central Standard Time.

Useful and Well-Designed

I work in a global organization, and daily need to schedule meetings, coordinating offices in countless time-zones. Having a quick easy way to check local times is critical. This app does the job, and is quite well-designed. Apple would have designed this. Goiod job.

Not very useful for planning meetings in multitple time zones.

This app doesn’t allow you to change the names of cities (i.e., if one of your attendees is from Bellingham, WA, you have to keep the city name at Seattle. The app doesn’t allow you to change the name from Seattle to Bellingham even though the two cities are in the same time zone.) This app also doesn’t allow you to easily ask and answer the question, "If I want to schedule a meeting next Wednesday, at 11AM, what time will it be for my attendees in Kemah, Texas and St. Louis, Missouri? I want to know if it will cut into their lunch time or or commited times that they have locked in. You have to wrestle with it.

Developer Response ,

Hi, Wanderfire!

You are right, the app has only the features that are explicitly stated in the AppStore description.

And the app doesn’t know when some person will have lunch on Wednesday. Probably we could make integration with public calendars, but you are the only one who asked this. So if we will see people’s interest in this we will make it possible in next releases.

And one the features that we are planning to roll out in the nearest future is renaming cities, so you could place the neighborhood city name or your colleague name there. So stay tuned!
