Nice UI, CPU Hog

I'll start off by saying the app has a very clean, easy to read and use user interface.

However I have ultimately installed another app and removed this one due to the 15% idle CPU usage this app consumes when it's not in use. Just having the icon in my menu bar the Renderer process consumes a minimum of 12% and the GPU process another 3%. I've seen it spike up as high as 20% at times. Overall an energy waste but even more wasteful when on battery. May be due to a Rosetta/Apple Silicon translation issue. I hope to revisit this app in the future.

Elegant design, easy to use

This provides a much needed world clock functionality to macOS (available on iOS), and adds the ability to see what the time would be in other timezones using a slider. It's compact and easy to use. I find myself using it constantly to determine what are good meeting times for our globally distributed team.

You can add multiple timezones and easily change the order. The timezones helpfully display the day, so you don't make mistakes due to timezones straddling different days.

It would be nice if the developer would add the ability to provide custom names for a timezone. For example, Shenzhen isn't in the list of timezones, so I have to choose "CST" (for China Standard Time), which causes me to do a double take since it has the same abbreviation as Central Standard Time.

Just one problem...

This is a very well designed app that will be useful for anyone working on a remote team. The only thing preventing me from giving it five stars is the fact that it shows up in the dock and command tab. Most menu bar apps don't, so I'm not sure why the developers made this decision. This is the kind of app that is useful when I need to check it quickly but should stay out of the way at other times; exactly what menu-bar-only apps are for.
