Effortless 4+

Lives up to the name

I’ve used every ToDo, GTD, Pomo____, Kanban, ranging from very simple to extremely convoluted. When I opened the app, my instinct was to monkey around in the preferences and make connections to my calendar and email. Needless to say, all of that effort was not required.

Yet Effortless does every single thing you need it to do, so you can be effective. And nothing else. And for the first time, my time estimates are more meaningful and quantifiable.

Thank you thank you thank you so much to the developer(s)? I assume that’s Julian Pulgarin. Bravo.

Great little productivity tool

Great app for managing productivity and working through my Trello todo list. Really helps me understand how long some of my regular tasks take to finish.

Would be great to see the ability to customize the keyboard shortcuts for pause/done/add time and have it not automatically begin the timer when I’m just setting up my list.

Good with annoyances

I had very high hopes for this little utility. Great concept, but at least one flaw that makes it annoying. As a menu-bar task tracker, it's simple an obvious. Works as designed. The time-tracking feature is very useful too.

The annoying part is that the time-tracking feature gets out of sync every time. Add a new task, and you have to "unpause" repeatedly to get it to stop. Then you can restart the timer.

I hope this developer can make a few improvements to make this a 5-start utility.

Hi Rick, sorry about this bug you encountered and thanks a lot for bringing it to my attention. I've been able to reproduce it and will have a fix out shortly.
