You can save your trips to the Apple Health app in order to get credited for the effort, if you're into that sort of thing. Give Health access via the account screen within the app.

Great service so far
I haven’t ridden the bikes yet, so can’t comment on that. (I’ll do that later). But I do want to say that I’m from US and the app worked fine for me with US (and many other countries) available. I’m signed up and have bought my first day, unlimited 1 hour rides for 3 pounds.
Only for locals
I wanted to use your bikes while I was on vacation in Edinburgh but your app won’t accept any US phone numbers.
