Ratings and Reviews
Great new additions but what about crypto
Finally improvements like ex-div dates, yied, beta, etc. have been added. Great job, thank you! But what about allowing for crypto trading also? Like the comparable Robinhood in the US does or even Paypal in the US does. Please take this feedback into consideration.
Terrible Bid-Ask Spreads
Their whole “crypto” space is basically unusable as you’re gonna lose between 1-20% on every trade. With bitcoin you can get lucky and only lose 1% as the volume is a bit higher but with any other altcoin you’re gonna pay a 10-20% ridiculous premium, or you can call it an initial loss that you’ll have on your position right from the start. The crazy thing is that they don’t allow you to do limit orders on crypto, hence forcing you to do a market order which is always executed in a ridiculous scammy way. I guess that’s how they make their money. Even within derivatives there are many knock outs that have terrible bid ask spreads so you gotta be careful to not make any market orders. They ofc never warn you about it. Trade Republic is maybe useable for traditional stock investing, but that’s about it. Don’t ever download this app in the hope of investing into crypto, it’s a waste of time.
Great App
This is an amazing app, the aesthetics are really good and it’s very intuitive to use. I just have one question, when will there be a widget? I would really appreciate to see my portfolio and my watchlist in a widget so that I don’t have to open the app every time to see the status of my stocks. Other than that, as I’ve said, really good app.
