Description
Banter gets people talking to nearby community members by leveraging locally trending topics. The topics might be questions, news, observations, or upcoming events. Users are connected when they express interest in the same topics and are close to each other. Once connected, they can chat in-app to arrange a meetup and have a face-to-face conversation right away!

I’ve been studying Chinese for years, but now thanks to Banter I’m USING Mandarin to explore interesting topics with interesting people... helping them with English while they broaden my Mandarin skills!
Love the idea
I wish I had this app when I first came to US for my master degree. It was hard to make friends with the initial culture shock and language barrier. Hope this app can help more students like me.
