KODAK Smart Home 4+

We’ve been using this for our Kodak baby monitor for the past year. It works ok, but could use some significant updates to make it more user friendly and seamless. Giving it two stars because right now there appears to be server errors happening on Kodak’s end that makes the app useless. I can’t get notifications that my baby is moving or making noise, which is nice to have when I’m away from the hand held monitor. It’s been several days and I really hope this gets fixed asap.

I’ve provided feedback since using the app for baby monitors and have been blown away that all of the feedback I’ve given has been addressed, including adding features to parent unit updates (split screen over WiFi, quick camera switching, lock camera movement). There are some quirks I’d love to see worked out, but I’m confident they will be addressed. Regarding the hardware, this is the ONLY system that meets my needs: (batter power to cameras for power outages/camping/car), parent unit and WiFi/app, split screen on parent unit. So to be fair, I have some motivation to make this work. I thought I’d be stuck with whatever app experience I got, but I’m really impressed with responsiveness. Thank you developers for listening! I am shouting from the rooftops about how great this system and app is!

I have been using this monitor and app for over a year and love it! I was worried about technical issues when shopping for a video baby monitor because every product on the market seemed to have it’s fair share of bad reviews. We took a chance on the Kodak because we weren’t seeing any bad reviews, but we also weren’t seeing a lot of reviews. So glad we did! Both the app and the parent unit work great and have never given us any trouble. Highly recommend!
