The official ABRSM Music Case app helps anyone learning a musical instrument make the most of their music practice time.
With ABRSM Music Case you can set clear, focussed practice goals and with the ability to add example videos, images or audio you can quickly understand what you need to do in your music practise sessions. It’s also easy to prioritise your practice goals so when it comes to your music practice session you know exactly where to start.
As you practice your musical instrument using ABRSM Music Case it tracks your practice time, recording it so that you can see how much time has been spent practising each practice goal. Understanding how much time is tracked against each practice goal can allow
you to make sure your practice sessions are balanced.
In a practice session it’s easy to quickly record a segment of your music practice so that you can listen back to it. This can help you learn to identify improvements in your playing and allow you progress quicker.
Group your practice goals in to music notebooks by musical instrument or even create multiple notebooks per musical instrument by giving you music notebooks names.
Once you’ve completed a practice session you can see your music practice statistics and if you’ve won any badges to mark your achievements. Keep practising to collect more!
If you have music lessons to learn your instrument then you can share your ABRSM Music Case notebook with your music teacher so that they can see what you are practicing and the time you are logging against each goal. As a music teacher all you need to do is scan the share code of your students notebook to start seeing what they are working on and track how much time they have spent practising.

Ratings and Reviews
(PSA: this is pretty long so look for the brackets to get what you want to read) I love this app so much! I’m actually a student teacher, so I love how I can make Notebooks to help me during my own practice, but also use this with my students and help them have structured practice during the week.
[NEGATIVE] The only reason I knocked off a star is because it doesn’t allow me to create a notebook for a student and have both of us edit the same notebook. I have to create a separate notebook and feed in what I want my student to do and have them copy it into their own notebook to get credit for it, which is slightly inefficient.
[SUGGESTION FOR USERS] I would highly recommend that if teachers are using this app, create a student account since you can’t make a notebook through the teacher account and the student account can do everything that the teacher account can do.
[POSITIVES] All in all, it’s a pretty good app, especially since it’s free. I definitely have noticed the difference in the way my students practice and what they work on. They don’t focus as much on how much time they practice, but the quality of their work and are highly encouraged by the badges in the app! Even for the younger students who aren’t in exams yet, this is amazing in making a child’s practice experience better!
