Doesn’t work

Edited: Contacted support and they offered a few easy instructions to get the app on my watch functional. Customer service is everything - so thank you for your timely responses.

I downloaded the app to be able to use through my Apple Watch. But my watch continuously says “please open commands iPhone app to continue”. I am logged in - app on phone seems fine. I’ve tried deleting the commands app from my watch and re-adding it. No dice. Wish I hadn’t purchased - would recommend not to buy this app.

Developer Response ,

We’re sorry to hear you have difficulties with Apple Watch app.
Please email us at commands4t@gmail.com and we will help you to solve this issue.
Thank you

Very buggy

Great potential but very buggy. (1)Temp control ranges from 76 to 84 F. I would like to be able to specify a temp below 76. Siri commands are spotty. I originally got this to be able to control my tesla from my Apple Watch and the Siri commands appear to work 50% of the time.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately your website linked in the App Store under developer support is broken and doesn’t allow one to contact the developer without writing a review.

As for the temp issue, I have no issue controlling it via the Tesla app. It’s only the command app that is broken. I suspect you are converting from c to f which is why the wacky units (two decimal places with non integer increment decrement). Also, I don’t follow your comment about app sleeping. Let me know if you would like additional beta testing feedback

Developer Response ,

Thank you for checking out the app.
The temperature limits are set by Tesla and unfortunately we can’t control the Hi and Low limits.
About the commands, sometimes when your vehicle is asleep or is not connected to internet, Command tries to wake up the vehicle but because the time that your watch or your phone provide for each siri command to execute is limited, it cannot do both wake up and the actual command at the same time, so you have to run the shortcut agin after some moments when your car is awake.

Needs some polish but good features

The is the most feature filled Tesla app available. The support for Widgets, Siri Commands, Apple Watch (buggy?) along with all the other Tesla basics covered and then some.

I wanted Tesla Watch apps to be a thing but the only app I’ve found with support is this app but I can’t get it to connect.

Overall keep up the great work and I would definitely pay a moderately priced subscription to keep supporting development of the app. I’d love some UI polish.
