Description

The Prince’s Trust, supported by Capgemini, brings you a 10,000 steps a day challenge, throughout February 2022 to help transform young lives.

Future Steps is a 10,000 steps a day challenge, taking place throughout February 2022. Through the integration with Apple Health or FitBit, you can convert your walk, run or wheelchair distance into steps, and compete to reach the top of the leader board on the Future Steps app. You can take part individually, or as a team of up to 6 people.

By getting involved this year, you’ll be taking care of your mental and physical health and raising funds to help the most vulnerable young people in the UK take the next step to transform their lives.

We’re working with leading technology company Capgemini to make the event even slicker thanks to their team of digital innovators and junior talent from across its business, who are bringing their skills in app development to ensure we can be there to help young people.

So, why take part?

Get moving and have fun – look after your physical and mental health by getting out and active.

Build relationships – rally your team and keep each other motivated, you’re all in this together!

Spark a bit of healthy competition – compete to be at the top of the Future Steps leaderboard by taking extra steps or fundraising a little bit more than your pals!

Fundraise to change young lives – this year, we’ll help even more young people facing adversity. The Prince’s Trust support young people to find the tools and confidence to live more stable, fulfilling lives, but we can't do it without you.

Future Steps rewards - keep an eye out for competitions and virtual goody bags for taking part!

How can I keep my steps up?
Make each step count but build it into your everyday life! If your mobility allows, why not try:

Taking the stairs instead of lifts

Stepping outside during your lunch break

Taking your dog for a longer walk (or see if your local dog shelter needs extra walkers?)

Walking or rolling to the shops

Joining a rambling group

Stepping whilst watching TV

Putting on your own kitchen disco when making your dinner!

Step by step, together we can give young people hope.

Please note this app is intended for UK users only
