LeapMike ,

Hi Les

So the session was good. Earlier today I had a very bad migraine I did take some Excedrin which generally upsets my stomach a bit but after it’s in there for a bit I do tend to feel better. I did see you today and appreciate your time and suggestion, and also your willingness to work with me. I am very curious to follow up with the sleep study. Once I do the assessment with the sleep study expert, I will look to take your suggestion and go in for the sleep study. I hope that that shows some thing maybe it’ll show I’m not getting into the REM. That line of thinking really makes sense to me. I do hope that you get an opportunity to follow up with the neurologist for me as well. When I got home and shared all the information from my day with Rachelle, she asked me if I had told you how good I was being with the anti-inflammatory diet. Yes, Dear I did tell Leslie how awesome of a cook you are! OK, it’s about 9 o’clock getting tired, so I’m going to go fall asleep in front of the TV and then go to bed. I haven’t looked at my results from the session yet, but I always like to target to get 100 XP points if possible on each of the 8 minute sections. Ok Good night

A Psychiatrist/CBT therapist’s take on how to improve your neurofeedback performance

By moving your eyes in a figure eight pattern, extend your palms facing upwards in a posture of open curiosity and taking 3-4 consecutive breaths; bear down to contract pelvic floor muscle(Jeff’s exercise) and slowly let air Ty of one’s lungs as slowly as possible; be incorporates

Eye movement of Tai Chi, EMDR, ventral vagal training of Poly Vagal theory/ Safe & Sound Protocol; with right and left brain cuicuits synchronized via motor circuits in the top of brain stem while integrating global cholinergic activation to modulate over sympathetic and dorsal vagal shut down tendency (to dissociate, freeze or fawn).

From doing the above, while I was typing my clinical progress notes, my deep zone brain wave states improved from 2-6% up to mid 30%, while typing my notes for work.

Changed My Life

Myndlift really has changed my life.

I had pretty severe anxiety and have tried a lot of different treatments for it and neurofeedback has helped so much. I know that therapy and medication also have helped, but I always had a certain level of anxiety that I couldn’t get rid of.

After only 2 weeks of using Myndlift, my anxiety improved noticeably. I’ve been using it now for a year and I’m so grateful to have neurofeedback as a tool. I now have subclinical anxiety symptoms and have started using Myndlift for ADHD symptoms and have been seeing improvements there as well.

It’s really relaxing and doesn’t feel like a chore at all. I usually watch Netflix while doing the Myndlift exercises, which is what I would be doing anyways. There are a bunch of other ways to do the neurofeedback though. For ADHD, if I’m struggling to focus while at work, I’ll put on some music with Myndlift and it helps me a lot to get my tasks done.

Overall, Myndlift is a 10/10 and I consider it to be just as important to my mental health as therapy and medication.
