Based on scientific research, our app estimates the amount of water you should drink based on your weight, sex, and lifestyle.

Smart reminders nudge you to drink at just the right moments. If you're on top of things, you won't see a reminder. If you're behind, you will see a lot of them. You can always turn them off in the settings.

Record what you drink and visually see how you are doing, how much you have drank, and how much you still need to.

Record various types of drinks. The app will automatically calculate how much actual water was in the drink. Some drinks such as alcohol, actually dehydrate you.

The app learns your favorite drinks and allows you to record these with one tap.

See a variety of insightful stats about your hydration: Streaks, Weekly Performance, Lifetime Water Drank, and an elegant Graph showing your hydration level over the past two weeks.

As you drink more and more water, you elevate your status from a bubble all the way up to some of the biggest most powerful creatures in the ocean.

The only thing that’s worked!

This app is the only thing that has worked to make sure that I’m fully hydrated. It’s the aesthetics—it’s pretty—and also the language and tone of the alerts. The word choice is cute and funny. It feels encouraging verses nagging. This really matters! The IA with this little app is sophisticated and sends the alerts according to your habits, which ends up feeling right on time.

I have ADHD and take medication that is dehydrating, so staying hydrated is paramount to my overall well-being. So it’s more than just something many of us “would like to do better with.”

I also like that the hydration level adjusts according to the beverage. It was a wake up call about alcohol!

Very minor suggestion, I would love to be able to hide the beverages that I never drink from the selections. I drink about eight-nine of them and only three daily, so it would be great to not scroll through the others. This is a small annoyance, but worth the mention since the app is so great, it’s probably something it’s capable of doing!

Thanks for this, it’s a game changer. I recommend it to everyone!

No Watch App?

This one ticks off most of the boxes for me .. easy to use, fair price, except for one significant omission. No Apple Watch app. I am also trying out Water Reminder - Daily Tracker. Unfortunately it stopped allowing access to premium features even though I signed up for trial and subscription. But one thing I liked was it’s attention to detail. Example. If adding alcohol like beer it asks size and alcohol content level to get a really accurate read on water less dehydration. Curious if this app does that too. Anyway. Too bad about the lack of Watch. Otherwise seems pretty good.

Update. Well after trying various apps, got this one for now. It doesn’t provide the depth of drinks of Water Reminder, nor does it have detail like alcohol content which makes difference, but the app works, which unfortunately can’t say about Water Reminder at this time.

This is easy to use and covers what I need for most part. Do wish it had Apple Watch for notifications and quick way to enter info.

Ugh, another useless subscription

$30/year or $4.50/month to track how much water I drink. What are the developers drinking? That’s insane!

I’m not going to pay that much money just to see what incredible changing content they offer each day focusing on drinking glasses of liquids. This is about half the cost of a Netflix subscription, and Netflix has huge licensing and server fees to deal with. What overhead does an app that counts water intake require?

Listen, I get it, every developer needs to stay in business. And first glance this is a fairly pretty interface. But get real- the a single charge for the initial $5 cost of the app ought to be the top end of what to expect for this. There are several awesome apps that already do what I see this app does, and don’t think any of them have any charges beyond their initial cost. I can’t imagine any daily development of new content around drinking liquids that can justify a recurring subscription fee to this type of program.

I think Apple has misled a lot of app developers- first with dreams of big money for $0.99 apps, and now with illusions that people will happily pay $5 per month for eternity to each developer of the 18 applications they use. In other words, in a world where decent cell service with data has dropped to $20-30/month, there is anyone willing to pay $90/month total to “subscribe” to programs like this? Sorry guys, I wish you luck but the business plan doesn’t make sense to me.
