This game I had downloaded about 2 yrs ago and didn’t think much of it. Played it one time when I was younger but it was to much of a learning curve for me to comprehend so I deleted it.Now 2yrs later I downloaded the game again and I guess it just takes some patience and reading to understand the menu and what everything does. Now that I got around that now I enjoy the game everyday with no problems.I love the story and how original they kept it with the series *cough*(that if you haven’t watched it you should because it’s amazing) *cough* than my you for making this game it’s a piece of art.

I have to admit, the first half an hour playing this game, I was blown away. The art, voice acting, music, the high production cut scenes, everything was spot on. And as a fan of Hokuto no Ken, this game seemed like a dream come true. It was just oozing with nostalgia and fan service. But play for awhile, and you discover the gameplay is almost nonexistent. The battles look great and sound great and the specials are a joy to watch, but the combat is so simplistic it’s barely a game. Instead of fighting battles, 90% of your time spent with this game will be opening chests, farming mats, upgrading you units, stuff like that. If that sounds like fun, and you enjoy seeing your favorite Hokuto no Ken characters increase their stats with bigger numbers popping over their heads all the time, then this game is for you. Otherwise, the gameplay is pretty boring which mainly consists of farming and upgrading. Still, might as well give it a shot since it’s free to try. I still haven’t deleted the game just because I like the music when the game starts. Man that song is so epic...

First off I’m glad Sega took the reins on this one. It’s got that Sega action style that you see on games like Yakuza but this time it’s for this beloved manga series. If you loves the comic and you have tons of money to burn, download this game immediately. Like any other freemium game this will cost you big time with crystal chests easily up there in terms of pricing. However at least early on this game is fairly generous with doling them out for free but like in any other freemium game this will plateau out pretty fast and you’ll be spending in no time to keep up. That said this game is still a nice collection game for anyone who’s a fan of the series. The PVP aspect (so far early on) isn’t as annoying as in other games and the guild aspect is pretty rudimentary. However I’m sure this game will evolve in time and more spending will incur. You have to spend a lot of time building up and modding your toons like in SWGOH but at least this game has a good deal of flourish and pizzazz. It’s a turn based game so the mechanics are fairly simple and repetitive. It also has a tower based game mode that will take some time to clear each day. It’s also cool that you can practice battle with any other player in game. Generally speaking this game is fun to play. Just get your wallet ready

I’m gonna be honest, I do enjoy this game since I do like FotNS a lot, but some of the gachas are blatantly ridiculous. Like on any gachas that have new URs I can use to improve my teams, every single time I get a fighter pull, it’s always a lame SR that you can find no problem on the regular gem banner, which really brings event banners down. What’s the point of having SRs from the gem Gacha in event banners if you’re not going to get a fighter every single pull? If they had URs only, they wouldn’t be so bad, because almost no one uses SRs when they get plenty of URs. Other than that, it’s a good game, it’s just that the Gacha lineups really need no SRs outside of the regular gem Gacha and have URs only to at least give event gachas like the Golden Week Gacha more value and purpose.
