Description

Protect your eyes from digital eyestrain and increase work productivity.

If you work in front of a computer all day, you may notice that your eyes get tired, dry, or itchy. Staring at a screen for hours at a time can take a toll on your sight. That's why it is very important to take regular breaks.

Besides, scheduled breaks can actually help improve concentration. Short breaks during long tasks helps you to maintain a constant level of performance, while working at a task without breaks leads to a steady decline in performance.

Regular eye exercises can help you to improve eyesight and prevent eye diseases such as nearsightedness and farsightedness.

This application will help you easily follow these tips.

Almost perfect for a video editor

After 6 years of pro video editing, I have felt my eyes slowly deteriorate. After one day of using this app, my eyes arlready feel more refreshed and I feel more refreshed as well.

I give it 4 stars until it lets me pause the total work time. I really like how it keeps track of my total editing time to measure billable hours, but if I take a lunch or go film something, there's no way to pause it. It does let you pause the 20 minute timer, but not the total work timer.

Love this app.

Great for anyone who needs a reminder to look away from the computer every 10-30 minutes, stretch, etc.

It's customizable for how long you want the breaks to be. I have it set so I take a short 30 second break every 20 minutes, then a 2 minute break every hour (it gguides you though eye exercises, head and neck stretches, etc. And the app is discrete, living in top bar of your homescreen.

It's true that if you have a second desktop connected it only pauses on my laptop, but that hasn't been a huge inconveneince. Maybe that can be added in the next update!

Nice Minimalist Rest Break App

This is a very nice minimalist rest break app. There's a little menu bar tool showing the time to break and a tasteful overlay that comes up with some eye exercises. It doesn't overcomplicate what should be a very simple application.

One developer request: When I'm using multiple displays, allow me to specify which screen this will use.
