SUDOKU EVOLVED is a brand new, 3D puzzle experience for both casual and experienced Sudoku lovers alike. Experience Sudoku like you never have before!

SUDOKU IN 3D – Sudoku Evolved expands upon traditional Sudoku by extending it to three dimensions. Each face of a cube contains a unique Sudoku puzzle that follows normal Sudoku rules. What makes Sudoku Evolved unique is that the numbers on the edges are shared between faces, creating a link between adjacent puzzles. This allows for interesting new gameplay—solving for clues on one side of the cube may help you figure out clues on another side!

ALL ABILITIES – With four different difficulty levels, you'll be able to play at a level that suits your abilities whether you are brand new to Sudoku or a seasoned veteran.

CUSTOMIZE – Choose between Light mode or Dark mode depending on if you are playing during the day or at night. There are also many color options to choose from, such as each face having its own unique color or choosing a single color for all faces.

Great. Could be greater

I enjoy sudoku games a lot and I have quite a few for my phone. This one adds an extra level to change it up and I like it a lot. Just a few small things I would like to see in the future. A timer and a record keeper to keep track of my best times and also how many mistakes I’ve made would make me want to play it more. Also if when you highlight a number and it highlights the other same numbers could you have a way that also highlights the blocks you noted with that number also, it would help a lot with the fluidness of the game. I would also greatly appreciate more design themes. The dark and light mode are nice but any way to switch it up after a while would be nice. The last thing is a small bug when I close the app and reopen the the note pencil icon is not highlighted even if I’m still in note mode. It’s fixed buy double tapping the icon which is easy just a little annoying. I really enjoy the game and I hope to see some of these in an update. Thank you.

Sudoku evolved

As a person who is relatively new to playing sudoku I thought the different surfaces might be overwhelming, but the colored faces and shared edges actually make it very user friendly. I also like the option to be able to customize dark vs light mode and my favorite is having the hint option- makes it a lot more enjoyable for me than the traditional paper sudoku. Highly recommend checking this out!

Beautifully designed, BUT much too simple in hardest levels

The game development is interesting in that all five sets of grids are connected. The design is clean and visually easy on the eyes for extended play.

My one and only suggestion (complaint) is the hardest level is much too easy. Much too easy. I did not feel any difference from medium to hard levels, and hard levels have far too many cells already filled. Add to the fact that once all four sides games are completed, the top section is basically completed, and to complete it is just as simple to quickly fill in the empty cells between the side cells (which are already completed when the adjoining game is completed.

If I had known the games were this simple I would not have purchased, but I do hope the developers add at least 2-3 more higher difficulty levels, diabolical levels would be wonderful. If so, it will be a pleasure to update to five stars.

Developer Response ,

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. Due to the different faces being connected on the edges, it places many more constraints on the puzzle generation compared to a traditional Sudoku puzzle. This makes it very difficult and computationally intensive to generate puzzles with fewer numbers.

Unfortunately, I don’t currently have plans to increase the difficulty level of the puzzles. This would require a complete rewrite the puzzle generation engine. Since I am the sole developer on this project, it’s not something I have the resources to do currently.
