Imagine wanting to go home (or anywhere else you chose), but you want something that simply points to home, and says how far away it is. Imagine if it displayed the Apple map, with your location on it, with a bright line, pointing to home.Imagine it defaults to heads up on the map being your heading, unless you toggled to north up mode.Imagine being able to zoom in and out on the map display. All while it always has a bright line pointing to home, or whatever destination you choose, always telling you how far away it is.And it never goes to sleep, so you don’t have to keep poking the screen to keep it displayed.It’s absolutely wonderful for meandering your way to your destination, while picking interesting roads as you go. Always knowing if you’re going in basically the right direction, or not.This is something I’ve been looking for, for years. It was the most wonderful feature of the long defunct DeLorme devices. I am so glad to finally have that back.

Hard to believe that with all the GPS mapping and tracking apps out there, it was so hard to find one that does what this app does so well: put in a destination and get back “as the crow flies” distance and heading. Genius!
