SNAPLAPSE! is a unique and absorbing visual puzzler, unlike anything you have tried before.

Our brains love symmetry. We have a natural affinity for the balance and harmony of symmetrical forms. These exist everywhere in Nature. Flowers have evolved to use a combination of symmetrical patterns, scents, and colors to attract bees. These are qualities that attract us to flowers too.

SNAPLAPSE! is an addictive game of symmetry based on exclusive time-lapsed videos of different flowers blooming. Each collection of six flowers has taken over 500 hours to film.

Create beautiful multi-layered kaleidoscopic patterns, then try to match two halves using your touchscreen and a combination of controls to score a perfect Snap. Play against the clock, or just chill and enjoy the puzzle!

To get started, try the one-minute onboard demo when you first run the app. And check out the video demo. You can find both in the menu bar in the app, and more resources on our support site at

Score a 100% Snap and save it to your private gallery where you can play it again to try to beat your own top-time. Or even better, share your Snap Challenge to compete with friends.

It’s not easy, but it’s not as hard as you might first think!

AirDrop a Snap Challenge directly from your gallery to people nearby for some snap to snap combat! For friends who are further away, share via email from your gallery. Once accepted, the Snap Challenge will appear in the Shared Gallery on your friend's device.

They will be prompted to download the app if they don’t have it already, or just the flower if they have the app but not the relevant flower. All Snap Challenges are free to play even if the recipient has not downloaded Snaplapse yet, or purchased any flowers.

If they beat your top time, a gold badge will appear next to the Snap in their gallery. When they send it back to you, it will appear in your Shared Gallery. If you beat their time you will win the badge, and they will lose it. Ping it back and forth to see who ends up keeping the badge. Eventually one of you will surrender!

As the top times get quicker, the Snap Challenge will get harder to beat. If you both get your time down to less than 10 seconds, one-hundredth of a second can decide the winner.
