The Maker Town® App is a community tool for supporting local maker economies across America. Select a region, and discover maker places of business, where you can shop local and shop handmade. The Maker Town® App helps makers become more accessible to nearby consumers, whether they operate through a retail boutique, an online store, a fabrication shop, or a pop-up market.

- Filter for maker businesses across 10 product categories: Wellness, Home Decor, Jewelry, Tabletop, Furniture, Fashion, Wall Art, For Pets, Paper Items, and Packaged Foods.
- Browse through colorful images of product examples from each maker business.
- Watch videos of local makers and artists sharing their projects and their process.
- Learn about upcoming maker events in your region that you can attend.
- Link directly to makers at their preferred commerce site when you’re ready to buy.

Version 2.0
Version 2.0 of the Maker Town® App features a streamlined user interface that takes you right into the image directory, making it easier to filter by category and quickly learn about upcoming events. This version also features video shorts of local makers throughout each filtered view, providing even more opportunities for local makers to be discovered by those interested in handmade and local goods.

Best App for Small Businesses and Shoppers
This app brings all kinds of quality local made products and services into one easy to access place. Think a mix between Etsy and Craigslist. Say you’re looking for some wall art. You search for that and all of these local businesses who make wall art come up. You can easily scroll through tons of examples and products listed. When you click on one the artist/business who made it will pop up. There you can see all of their contact info and be redirected to their site. My favorite thing about the app is they list local events and markets. For whatever reason it is impossible to find a comprehensive list of outdoor flea and pop-up markets but they are building one on the app! Huge for both shoppers and makers!
Every town needs this app!
Maker Town is fantastic! I moved away from Cleveland, and this app allows me to see features from all of my favorite Cleveland artists in one place. I am typically a procrastinator but already made some Christmas purchases. I also love that it includes upcoming events. Every town needs Maker Town!
Great shop local app!
This app is going to make holiday shopping amazing. The ability to filter by product types makes it a snap to hone in on things I am looking for. I never knew there were so many interesting makers and artists around Cleveland. This is a really great tool and very easy to use. I have already told five friends about it.
