Would Love to Manual Add Activity

I think this app is super rad, BUT, I would really appreciate a way to manually add activity. I decided to keep a pair of walking shoes in here too. I paid to add an extra pair, and now I can’t even log their activity because it’s not a “run.”

I’ll see if I can alter something in my tracking apps, but man, what a bummer.

Also, Nike Run Club, which I use, doesn’t always log all of my miles. At the end of a guided workout, it stops logging miles, despite keeping the app running. It’s infuriating. So, please, allow addition of manual runs or workout activity to truly log health of a shoe.

Love this app. I want it to truly be my go to. Thanks.

Developer Response ,

Hey Jenzie, this may be something we consider adding in the future. The idea so far has been to make the process as automatic as possible.

Just now you can add runs using the Health app on your iPhone. Open Health
• Select Browse
• Select Activity
• Select Workouts
• Select Add Data

Very unique and helpful tool!

Definitely an app that's a very genius idea, I didn't realize how useful it would truly be for runners until I started using it. Widgets are great, simple to use, and a nice tool to keep track of the wear and tear on your shoes.

Thanks for your really nice review :)

Effectively $2

You are unable to add a shoe to keep track of mileage unless you pay the in-app purchase of $1.99. Usually in-app purchases don’t completely prevent you from using the application, but it does for this application. Forgive the pun, but it seems like a “shoe-in-the-door” approach to getting you to pay for the application instead of labeling it as a paid $1.99 app.

Developer Response ,

All User’s receive their first shoe free of charge. It gives them a chance to enjoy the full app before deciding if they enjoy it and want to purchase additional shoes to track any future runners they have.
