The story of Emily from Merge Matters is a mysterious one. Emily, her husband Oscar, and their 6-months old son Oliver were enjoying family life, until something weird happened. The couple received a letter with no return address, which was followed by Oscar’s disappearance.
Now, Emily and her son are all alone in her villa. To find clues about her husband’s disappearance, she has to carry out home restoration and fix everything that’s broken. They just moved in recently, so there is a lot to repair!
In an effort to help Emily find her husband, you have to clean up the building, reorganize it, and fix broken things, from faucets and electricity to furniture. Throughout the game, you will meet Emily’s parents, bankers, and detectives. New evidence regarding Oscar’s disappearance will unravel as the game progresses. Restore the house and find new evidence to help Emily reconnect with her husband.

Why is it that every single event be it making a teddy bear or a garden stuff or whatever….why is it that when you enter the event you can’t just start off on your own you have to “click” on instructions before the event table opens up….I’ve done probably 40 or more of them since playing for a year or two and to be honest I’m not ignorant I know what to do every……single…..time……. I shouldn’t have to sit there and have you all explain to me or the rest of us what we are doing. You should add a “skip instructions” on the first pop up instruction box so we don’t have to go through every…..single…..pop up box...One more thing. You need to RECODE and RECONFIGURE…the chances of winning a prize box or grand prize on the daily spinning wheel….I know I’ve spent by now 1,000s of gems on extra spins over my time playing and never ever even got close to winning either…and that tells me the odds of winning are less than winning the actual real life lottery….and let’s be honest….this game isn’t that special….people should actually be given a chance to win one or two grand prizes over the course of a couple years playing. Totally rigged and unfair and for that I’m lowering my 4 star rating to a 1… what are the odds in that! Lol maybe more players should read this. I’m going on some of the “fan pages” I know of and posting this exact review…maybe more will lower their ratings until the games becomes more fair. And trust me I know how merge games works lol this one isn’t as fun as it could be anyway.

I have been playing this game for months now. And I really love it. EXCEPT….. I do NOT love the fact that every time I merge something a bubble comes up to watch an ad for a diamond or coins. This would be idle IF it didn’t take a full minute for the bubble to go away…. I wish there was an option to either delete the bubble if we wanted too, or move the bubble of the ad content to the outer part of the screen, and off the spots on our boards….. the board is pretty filled up and small enough now and when we keep getting bubbles it’s VERY frustrating. I’m also a supporter of this app and buy diamonds occasionally to complete tasks that take forever…. So please FIX THE BUBBLES WITH ADS. Like I said it would be cool and ideal if they could be moved out of the board area and hover “in the background” so it isn’t taking up the board space. I mean we can already move those bubbles, so why not let us move them off the board and into the background? Other than that I love the game.

Very fun, but tons of issues

I really like this game and I play pretty much everyday. There are a lot of issue I have with the game. 1. Some goals take way too long to meet because it takes forever to get the items you need. For example, I needed a candle for a task. In order to get a candle, you need beeswax. Beeswax comes from the beehive, which is created by merging bees. Bees come from flowers, which are made from seeds that come from the watering cans. No matter how much you merge the water and, only one seed comes out per cycle. You need I think 16 seeds to merge all the way to a full flower, which produces the bees. 3 bees come from a flower, and the flowers are a one time use. You need tons of bees to merge all the way to the beehive which produces the wax. I just made it to that level of the beehive and felt relieved that I made it after over a month, just to find out that the beehive only produces TWO wax pellets AND that it is also a one time use. Two pellets isn’t enough to make a candle. So I’m back to square one. This leads me to my next issue.2. Task disappear after a while. I’ve been working towards the candle task for over a month. Yesterday, not too long before I merged enough to get some wax, the task disappeared from my list. This has happened three times now for different tasks. They don’t say you having a certain amount of time to complete it. Extremely annoying.

It can pass the time but only for 10-15 minutes as energy runs out due to the tasks. It seems that the daily tasks + the regular tasks all want the same items over and over or very high level items that use multiple machines and you use all of your energy trying to get a single piece to a 50 piece puzzle. I’ve been trying to get a piece of ceramic for 9 days. Things that like make game play less enjoyable. In reference to tasks wanting the same items, you can hardly get the items you need because there is so little variety in the outputs of the machines. A certain machine will spit out 4 different items but you really only get one the whole time and then all of its energy is gone and you have to wait 2 hours + to be able to use the machine again. It seems like the only way to get anywhere is to watch 20 ads a day. While I appreciate the option of free, an ad for items and boosting machines every 5 minutes is just too much. I really want to like this game but when it’s all high level items/items that are impossible to retrieve from the same machines over and over it makes game play way less fun than it could be.
