Missed the mark
Navigation is cumbersome and outdated. Voice acting was not great. Hints are only offered as an extra purchase, so search for walkthroughs on the web. Not rewarding enough to fight through the clunkiness of the game.

When developing the game, build it in the original Point & Click style of the nostalgic games from the 1990s-2000s. This was a very intentional decision on our part, as we wanted to offer the nostalgia of playing a Point & Click adventure, but with HD graphics and updated puzzles. We encourage you to continue with the game as it really opens up and becomes a big adventure worth experiencing.

Super Confusing.
Game was super confusing. Tried for over two hours to uncerstand it, not making much sense

Stick with it - you’ll be glad you did! Riddle of the Sphinx requires a lot of exploration, but it’s worth your persistence. As you find more clues, and solve more puzzles, the game will begin to open up into bigger adventures and discoveries.
We highly encourage using the in-game hint system, “Book of the Dead Ends”. You can access this hint system through the settings screen by clicking on the scarab. The hints are based on where you currently are in the game and will nudge you in the right direction. Or, you can get solutions to solve the puzzles right away!
