Great Program ~ Just one request...
Let me start by emphasizing that this is a great little application. You can create multiple lists, sort them pretty much anyway you like, prioritize items, check and/or delete items, ad personal notes to each item, set due dates, etc. etc. etc. Best of all, you can do so very quickly and at great ease (i.e. not complicated like many other similar programs).
I do have one small request for the developer:
Presently, when the application is closed, the total number of items that one has stored in the application is displayed on the icon. When one manages countless items, this large number becomes meaningless (and in that regard useless). I think it would be much better if the number of items listed on the icon would only pertain to the high priority items. This would give the user more meaningful information, namely the number items that require immediate attention.
Other than that, this is hands-down a 5-star program. I have owned several other "To-do"-List programs. But none of them have all the features this one has with such a simple way to get the job done.
wow!! Developers finally listened
- the ability to have checkmarked items automatically moved to the bottom and still visible (awesome)
-ability to read notes within the list (awesome)
-simple, easy to use
-no ridiculous log in or sign up to use app (awesome)
-developers did right by making a "simple" list - I have not been able to find something so simple yet so effective.
Bad (but can live with it)
-zero feedback from developer
-took four years to update a simple feature that customers wanted (see past reviews)
-when you checkmark an item, it goes to the bottom (nice!), but when you "uncheck all", it does not put the list back in order. You either have to alphabetically sort or manual sort - that's ok, I can live with it
so, after multiple complaints from reviewers about the developer taking away the visible checkmark feature and putting at bottom, the developer brought it back...probably too little/too late given they upset so many people. I would buy this app again if it would help. I would even donate via PayPal but developer has zero response to any inquiries.
I'm giving it 5-stars because it does what it is supposed to do. Developer needs to update the UI and make it more appealing but if it took four years to make one simple change then I'll take it as is...
Can some one tell me why you would remove an option when it works fine the way it is??? I use this app a lot, and I really like it. I use the "lower checked items" option on just about every single list I create. Why would you remove this? It doesn't make any sense - it works perfectly. If someone doesn't want/need it, they don't have to use it. But, WHY take away something that is a very nice feature that works perfectly. I haven't installed the latest update because I do not want this feature removed. Who wants to sort through a list that mixes complete/incomplete items in a hodgepodge fashion? I rarely write reviews, but felt obligated here. Before this latest update, I would give this app 4.5-5 stars. This one deletion alone drops my ranking to 3 stars. For those of us who want an organized appearing list, this is a step backward. And honestly, I think that anyone who would pay for a list making app feels the same way - we want to be efficiently organized. Fix this, and I will update my review to 5 stars.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
